Emily started 317 Charcuterie in July of 2021 here in Carmel, Indiana. Originally from Fort Wayne, she came to Indianapolis in 2011 to attend Butler University. There she majored in Psychology and minored in Italian. Her Junior year she studied abroad in Perugia, Italy and, of course, fell in love with everything about Italy.
Inspired by this experience and equipped with long-time food industry experience, She set out to create a unique concept that brings people together to savor life's moments - whether it's for a quick half-hour or indulging fully Italian-style over three hours. Enter charcuterie, as both an artistic outlet and a way to build connections amongst those celebrating the joys of the moment! And voila! 317 Charcuterie was born.
Emily has happily settled down in Carmel with her husband and their three furry companions - Sauvingon, Porter, & Zinfandel. She is now dedicating her focus to the spring arrival of baby boy and that is where I come in!
I'm Tina Lenges, a proud mother of a 17-year-old daughter and a loving wife of 26 years, living in the heart of Carmel, Indiana. Our household is filled with love and joy, thanks to our two playful standard poodles and our chubby, affectionate cat.
After dedicating many years to nurturing young minds as a preschool teacher, I felt it was time for a new adventure. My journey with 317Charcuterie began when Emily Miller opened the Carmel storefront in November 2021. Inspired by Emily's passion and the vibrant community, I joined the team and quickly discovered my own love for crafting beautiful, delectable charcuterie boards.
In late 2024, as Emily embarked on her maternity leave, I took a leap of faith and embraced the exciting opportunity to become the new owner of 317Charcuterie. Our mission is to bring people together through the art of charcuterie, creating unforgettable experiences for every occasion.
I am so glad you're here! Let's make life Gouda together!
